Auguste Rodin (born François-Auguste-René Rodin) (* 12 November 1840, Paris - † November 17, 1917, Meudon-la-Forêt) was a sculptor, illustrator and a French painter in the second half of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century. Rodin sculpture revolutionized language, making it capable of expressing human truth, from direct experience. The shop's been many sculptors, including Antoine Bourdelle, Charles Despiau, Aristide Maillol. In 1907, this worked and Constantin Brancusi, who left the studio after only a few months, he left justified saying, "Nothing can lift the shadow of the great trees!"
