Album: Ink Drawings 2017A Series of Ink Drawings inspired from the English landscapes of S.W Suffolk and North W. Essex.
Stabilo sensor 0.3 Black ink.
This year has been spent producing a series of figurative Drawings, Ink 0n Paper.
I wanted to reconnect to fundamentals after some years of rather slow oil paintings.
As it was, I found the intensive stress to capture a meaningful image in the shortest period of time
and least strokes possible, the dynamic challenge I was hoping for.
What I enjoyed, was the exacting pressure of using permanent ink, giving less room for error
And the awareness of time running along side, ever changing the landscape and yourself.
I hope viewers will enjoy the way space flows into forms with marks that, forge together, claim a harmony of composition, a lightness of touch and a dynamic experience all of their own. From: Maxine Cameron
Album: Wildlife Art 2016My work here clears away the background: sweeps away the context, Only the animals are omnipresent and portrayed as if images from story books. They bend & shape the space around them to identify themselves to find their environment. They engage us with their metaphysical characters as stories in our collective Consciousness. We take them to our hearts to ensure our connected space remains full of life, memories and matter. From: Maxine Cameron
Album: Contemporary Wildlife Oil PaintingsAn exploration of space, matter and narrative.
clearing the context, exposing the space.
Each subject bending space to create their own identity and reveal their story.
Inviting the viewer into the space to share the moment.
An intimate connection of joys, explorations, humours, shared sadness or peaceful respite. From: Maxine Cameron
